Equi-Clean Grooming Wipes Review from Karina the Hunt
My official review is here!! I’ve been raving about these grooming wipes on my IG stories since I first used them, but what makes these wipes worth a purchase? Read on!
They are huge. They are definitely horse-sized, and yes – you can clean an entire horse with one wipe. The convenience factor is what makes these truly great. Baby wipes were a staple in my trunk, but it would take me at least 3 to get anything done – if they hadn’t dried out already.
My favorite place to use these wipes is at shows, where the shavings are generally unbelievably dusty and even with a day sheet and a soft brush, they manage to still have a fine layer of dust on their coats. This makes it fast and easy to wipe down their neck, face, nose, and mouth, and then your boots (and your horse’s!) and any tack a final wipe as well. At home, I often use Equi-Clean wipes before and/or after rides, especially when the water is low and we need to conserve or if I’m short on time.
The package is well-made, which makes a huge difference because the wipes stay moist. There’s nothing more annoying than reaching for your pack of wipes only to find out that the thing wasn’t closed properly and your wipes are all dried out. I’m down to my last few wipes, and they are just as moist as when I first opened up the package.
These grooming wipes have a wonderful, light lavender-y scent and don’t leave any residue. I love that they are infused with skin & coat-loving ingredients that are both sensitive skin and USEF safe. My whole herd has sensitive skin, so gentle, soothing ingredients are a must for me. You can even use them on your dogs and cats!
This is a product that has added so much convenience for me in both my everyday grooming routine as well as at shows. I think they are completely worth the $24.95/pack, you can really get a lot done with one wipe. While this pack was sent to me to try out and review, this is a product I will definitely be repurchasing – you know it’s a winner when your trainer keeps asking if she can borrow them at the show!
