A vinegar bath can help to both cool your horse on hot summer days and prevent fungus on your horse's body. Just put a little vinegar in a bucket, add some water, and then run a sponge over its body. When dealing with leg fungus or crud, spray your horse’s legs with a 1:1 ratio of vinegar and water. You can do this every day to get rid of leg fungus, or a few times a week as a preventative measure.
